Anmeldung an der Station

Anmeldung & Einführung

Wir treffen uns am ersten Kurstag um 12:00 Uhr am Wingcenter auf dem Gelände von Camping Monja in Brenzone. Zunächst lernen wir uns gegenseitig kennen und erledigen alle nötigen organisatorischen Punkte wie Anmeldung und Bezahlung um einen reibungslosen Ablauf des Wingfoilkurses zu garantieren.

Gruppe von vier Personen sitzt auf Liegestühlen im Freien, während eine fünfte Person eine Tafel mit einer Skizze hält und erklärt.

Theorieeinheit & Materialkunde

Nun bereiten wir gemeinsam das Material für unsere Praxissession vor und du lernst unsere Wingfoil Ausrüstung kennen. Anschließend besprechen wir die theoretischen Grundlagen welche du später fürs Wasser benötigst. Für die fortgeschrittenen Wingfoiler unter euch und Teilnehmer am Privat Wingkurs organisieren wir eine separate Theorie. Wir gehen individuell auf dein persönliches Level ein und bereiten dich auf deine nächste Wingfoil Session vor.

Praxissession

Wir gehen bereits am ersten Kurstag zwischen 13 und 15 Uhr nach einer kurzen Pause aufs Wasser und wingen gemeinsam windabhängig bis zu 4 Stunden. Wir schulen im Gruppen Wingkurs im Buddysystem mit zwei Schülern pro Setup, damit du dich zwischendurch regenerieren kannst und durch die Beobachtung anderer Teilnehmer sowie den Tipps und Analysen deines Wingfoil Lehrers Fortschritte machen kannst. Im Privat Wingfoilkurs hast du das Equipment und deinen Lehrer für dich alleine.

Planung & Feedback

Nach der Session kümmern wir uns um das Material und besprechen den Kursablauf für den nächsten Tag gemeinsam. Da der Tagesablauf von den Wind- und Wetterverhältnissen abhängig ist, kann der Wingfoil Kurs am folgenden Tag bereits ab 7:30 Uhr starten. Am Vormittag geht es aufs Wasser, während der Theorieunterricht entspannt im Anschluss an die Session stattfindet. Nach einem Tag auf dem Wasser lassen wir den Abend häufig bei einem gemeinsamen Essen oder gemütlichen BBQ an unserer Wingfoilschule am Gardasee ausklingen.

What does the 100% wind guarantee mean?

We guarantee you on our Kite school on Lake Gardathat you will also receive your benefits for every paid course day. If the wind or environmental conditions don't want to play along, you will get one voucher, which can be redeemed after the kite course or within 2 years if there is free space.

When can children start learning kiting?

Children aged 10 and over can do the Kitesurfing on Lake Garda learn. However, weight is decisive here and at least one parent must accompany the kite course. From the age of 14, it is possible, with parental permission, to take a course alone at our Kite school on Lake Garda to prove.

Where does the kitesurfing course take place?

The first day of the course starts with our Kite school on Lake Garda on the grounds of Camping Monja in Porto di Brenzone. The theory session takes place on the first level of camping.

When does the kitesurfing course start?

We meet on the first day at 12:00 at our Kite school on Lake Garda. On the following days, depending on the wind, the kite course can start at 7:15 a.m.

What do I need for a kite course?

You need a kite, bar, board, harness and helmet as well as a life jacket as safety equipment. All necessary equipment is included in the kitesurfing course, apart from a wetsuit that can be purchased from our Kite school on Lake Garda can be rented. We also recommend bringing a towel, sunscreen and plenty of water.

Which kite equipment is used?

Avid kiteboarding trains both at Kite courses on Lake Garda as well as at kite camps worldwide with the latest material from Duotone, Future Kiting & Infinity Kiteboarding.

What do we practice on the water?

Your instructor is tailored to your personal level. As a beginner, we will work with you to train kite control, body drag, your first water start, altitude running and much more. The kite course for advanced kites is individually tailored to you — we start where you left off kiting the last time.

How many hours are we kiting on the water?

The practice session of the kite course lasts between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the wind.

How many kite students are on a boat?

We teach in small training groups with a maximum of 5 students; however, there are usually 2 to 4 beginners or advanced kitesurfers in group kite courses.

How many kites are used during the practice session?

We teach in the buddy system, i.e. with a kite for 2 students so that you can rest from training in between and at the same time learn from your buddy's maneuvers and the instructor's instructions on the boat. During the private kitesurfing course, each student receives their own kite equipment.

When does kitesurfing theory take place?

Depending on the wind, the theoretical part of the kite course takes place after or before the practice session, usually between 12:000 and 14:00.

How long does the theory unit last?

You will receive a kitesurfing theory unit adapted to your level every day, as well as preliminary and debriefing of up to 2 hours.

Where can I park?

Parking spaces directly on the kite surfing school grounds are available on request at the camping office & with parking fee. There are public parking spaces directly opposite our kite station at Marina Acqua Fresca.

Which accommodation should I book?

In Assenza or Porto di Brenzone, you will find numerous lodgings via booking.com or AirBnB. Right on our Kite school on Lake Garda Camping Monja is located. As nearby hotels, we recommend Hotel Carlo or Hotel Drago.

How does the kitesurfing school contribute to environmental protection?

Our Kite school on Lake Garda Plant new trees for the environment and a better future with the help of the Trillion Tree Campaign on behalf of the United Nations Environment Programme.
