With the help of Ecologi & the Trillion Tree Campaign on behalf of the United Nations Environment Programme, our kite school on Lake Garda is planting new trees in order to protect the climate in the long term and preserve biodiversity. Your kite and wing course plants a tree and you are thus actively contributing to environmental, climate and nature protection. We also support projects that protect the rainforest and promote wind energy: You will learn kiting and winging on Lake Garda with us in a completely CO2 neutral way!

Who can learn kitesurfing and wingfoiling?
Anyone can learn kitesurfing or wingfoiling! You don't need any previous experience and age is also not decisive. We have already taught students from 10 years to 84 years of age. A certain sportiness naturally increases your learning speed.
How quickly can you learn kitesurfing and wingfoiling?
An athletic beginner needs an average of 5 to 10 days to become anindependent kitesurfer and wingfoiler on Lake Garda. Depending on your personal learning speed, however, it can also work faster or take a little longer.
Where can you learn kiting or wingfoiling?
The wind and external conditions are two decisive factors! At Lake Garda in Italy, we have twice a day with the wind and a huge area to learn kitesurfing and wingfoiling in the best conditions. Our kite school on Lake Garda has been particularly effective on kite courses and Wing courses specialized for beginners and advanced users.
What is the best way to learn kitesurfing and winging?
Since kiting and winging is a fun/extreme sport which can also involve dangerous situations, it is particularly important to be taught by a trained and experienced instructor or a licensed water sports school.
Where is the best kitesurfing and wingspot on Lake Garda?
Since Lake Garda has only limited entry opportunities, most kite schools and wing schools travel by boat to the “wind spot”. The surf schools are mainly located on the east side of Lake Garda, as there are many beautiful lodgings and opportunities to alternative sports There is. Avid Kiteboarding is located near Malcesine in Assenza and therefore right in front of our Kite spot.
What is kitesurfing anyway?
Kitesurfing, kiteboarding or kiting, is a water sport that originated more than 30 years ago from wakeboarding/water skiing and kite flying. When kitesurfing, the athlete stands on a board that is similar to a small surfboard or wakeboard. It is pulled by a high-performance kite. The interplay of waves and the power of the wind makes it possible to learn jumps and tricks.
How much does your own kitesurf or wingfoil equipment cost?
Depending on whether you want to buy new or used kitesurf or wingfoil equipment and to what extent, you need an average of between 1000€ and 3500€. After completing your courses you can also rent equipment. But feel free to let our team at our Lake Garda kite school advise!
Which kite, kite board, harness, bar do I need for kitesurfing?
Since there is a wide variety of kitesurfing equipment, it is recommended, especially for beginners and advanced kitesurfers, to try out the equipment before buying and get advice from an expert (kite instructor/ kite shop). On average, however, you need two kites, a bar, a board and a harness to cover most of the wind range.
Where can I kitesurf or wingfoil in summer?
Our Lake Garda kite school Is located at one of the windiest kitesurf and wingspots in Europe and is recommended due to its warm temperatures and the huge area. In Germany, the North and Baltic Seas are particularly recommended.
