Shuttle & Rental

Lake Garda is one of the most reliable kite and wingfoil spots in the world, and for good reason: with the morning Vento and the afternoon Ora, you can often expect two predictable sessions per day. This unique combination makes the lake not only extremely windproof, but also ideal for taking your skills to the next level. With our shuttle boat, we take you to the best spots, flexibly, easily, and without stress. If you don’t have your own equipment, we provide the latest kitesurf and wingfoil gear for rent, perfectly matched to your level and the current conditions. Enjoy unforgettable sessions on the water, take in the special atmosphere on board, and connect with other kiters and wingfoilers.

FAQ: General questions about shuttle & equipment rental

Who is the shuttle service suitable for?

Our shuttle service is designed for advanced and independent kitesurfers and wingfoilers who can confidently ride upwind and do not require continuous coaching like in kite or wing courses.

Why is a shuttle necessary for kitesurfing and wingfoiling on Lake Garda?

With our shuttle service, we take you directly to the best wind spots on Lake Garda. In addition, you benefit from our rescue service in case you ever need assistance on the water.

Why is a boat shuttle necessary for kitesurfing and wingfoiling on Lake Garda?

On the eastern side of Lake Garda, there are hardly any suitable launch and landing spots for kitesurfers and wingfoilers. In most areas, launching and landing from the shore is also prohibited by law. Therefore, boat transfer is essential to get safely onto the water and take advantage of optimal conditions.

What requirements do I have to meet for the shuttle?

You must be able to kitesurf or wingfoil safely, handle your equipment independently, and wear a buoyancy aid (mandatory on Lake Garda). VDWS Level 5 or IKO Level 3 is required.

When do the shuttle sessions take place?

The shuttle times are based on the typical wind conditions on Lake Garda, such as the morning Vento and the afternoon Ora. This often allows for two sessions per day. The earliest possible start is 7:15 a.m. in the morning.

Where is the best kitesurfing and wingfoiling spot on Lake Garda?

As Lake Garda has only limited launch areas, most kite and wing schools reach the “windy spot” by boat. The schools are mainly located on the eastern side of the lake, where there are many beautiful accommodations and a wide range of alternative sports activities.

Avid Kiteboarding is located in Assenza close toMalcesine, placing us directly at our kitespot.

Is a rescue service included in the shuttle?

Yes, our shuttle service always includes a rescue service. If you experience any issues on the water, we are nearby with the boat to safely bring you and your equipment back in case of an emergency.

Can I also rent equipment and use the shuttle?

Yes, you can rent high-quality equipment from Duotone, F-ONE, and Nobile with us. The shuttle service is included directly. This is ideal if you are travelling to Lake Garda for kitesurfing or wingfoiling without your own equipment.

What is the difference between shuttle with own equipment and equipment rental?

With the shuttle and your own equipment, you bring your personal gear. With the equipment shuttle, you rent your kitesurf or wingfoil gear directly from us and also use the boat service.

Can I also book the shuttle spontaneously?

Spontaneous participation is possible depending on availability and wind conditions. However, we recommend booking the shuttle service in advance, especially during high season at Lake Garda.
