Simon has over 15 years of kitesurfing experience and has been teaching worldwide for 10 years. As an instructor, he was active at spots in Brazil, the Philippines, Egypt, France, the Caribbean, Germany and of course Italy. He has proven his skills several times at international kiteboarding competitions. Whether it's freestyle, big air or freeride — Simon knows exactly how to take your skills to the next level.

Leon discovered his passion for kitesurfing in the Philippines more than ten years ago. Since then, he has traveled to numerous kite spots all over the world and has been able to experience unforgettable moments on and off the water in South America, Europe and Asia. Despite all these trips, Lake Garda is his very personal home spot. Every year, he returns with great anticipation to pass on his enthusiasm for the sport and his experience as an instructor to our guests. For him, meeting familiar faces, getting to know new people and spending as much time as possible on the water is one of the highlights of every summer.

In 2017, Julie discovered her passion for kitesurfing in Mexico and since then she hasn't let go of the adventure. Whether by plane or her van, she travels all over the world to explore new spots. Julie has also turned her passion into her career and has been teaching in Sicily, on Lake Garda and on the Baltic Sea ever since. Julie loves freedom, fun and energy on the water and she wants to convey exactly this feeling to her students. For them, kitesurfing is the perfect sport to really work out, clear your mind and then walk off the water with a smile.

Chris has lived by this motto since his first kite sessions on Lake Garda in 2009. What began as a passion later became a job: As founder of Kitesafari.eu, he organizes kite safaris at fantastic spots all over the world. In summer, Chris can be found on the water as an instructor on Lake Garda and also partially supports station management at AVID. With his open nature, great expertise and genuine enthusiasm, he is not only a teacher, but also a passionate host. Chris teaches with passion, infects and manages to spark a fire for kitesurfing among his students, whether beginners or advanced surfers. Anyone who kites with him immediately senses that this is about more than just sport — it is about a way of life.

Marcy learned to kitesurf with AVID Kiteboarding and immediately noticed that she had found a new passion! In 2022, she packed her bags and has since been out and about as a kite instructor at fantastic spots, from Egypt to Brazil and Mexico to her home spot on Lake Garda. For them, teaching is more than just a job. It is their passion. As a trainer in rhythmic gymnastics, she has been helping people get the best out of themselves for over ten years. Since then, she has been enthusiastically practising this coaching know-how in kite sports as well. Marcy is a real living person: For her, kitesurfing means pure joy, limitless freedom and unforgettable moments on the water.

Jacqui has been living and sharing her very special lifestyle as an instructor at AVID since 2023. In addition to teaching, she supports station management and, together with Chris, organizes kite camps at fantastic spots all over the world. In addition to her main job as a vet, Jacqui has been involved in teaching and treating people sensitively for a long time. Her experience in running a small riding school has shown her how important patience, clear communication and the joy of learning are. With a smile on her face, lots of passion and positive energy, she not only brings kitesurfing closer to her guests, but also wants to pass on one thing in particular: fun, safety and genuine enthusiasm on the water.

Matze is an automotive engineer, private pilot and passionate kite surfer. From an early age, he was inspired by wind, technology and the feeling of freedom. He has already experienced this in Sardinia, Brazil, Croatia and regularly at our Lake Garda home spot, where he particularly appreciates kite floating and thermal winds. As a kite instructor at AVID, he is happy to share his passion and know-how. As a teacher, he attaches great importance to safety, fun and sustainable progress.

For 8 years, Ben/Benjamin has been following his passion for wind and waves around the world. As a kite instructor, he has already gained plenty of experience at spots such as Sri Lanka and Philippines before spending the summer season on Lake Garda with the team. There is nothing better for him than seeing his students develop the same passion for sport. His goal? Get people on board with a smile and bring them back ashore with an even bigger grin.

Mosi is studying medicine in Innsbruck and loves everything that has to do with water and exercise — in winter on snow, in summer at the lake or sea. He learned kiteboarding at AVID kiteboarding over eleven years ago and has returned every summer since then with great pleasure. His path to becoming an instructor developed from this long relationship. During the semester break, he supports the team at AVID and shares his experience with calmness, motivation and genuine enthusiasm for sport.
