Picturesque harbors, lively squares, charming alleys, beautiful beaches, and magical sunsets. Lake Garda has established itself as one of Italy’s most popular destinations for kitesurfing and wingfoiling, not only because of its excellent location between Milan and Venice, but also due to its diverse landscapes and Mediterranean climate. The towns around the lake offer visitors a wide range of events such as concerts, exhibitions, sports events, wine festivals, and much more. To fully enjoy this and experience the atmosphere of Lake Garda, a longer stay of at least a few days is recommended. Many places reveal their true charm in the evening, when the Italian old towns come alive and people stroll along the lakefront. Along the beautiful promenades and in the town centers, numerous cafés and restaurants invite you to relax. Whether kitesurfer, wingfoiler, sun lover, culture enthusiast, hiker, or night owl, everyone falls in love with the relaxed Italian lifestyle at Lago di Garda.
Our kitesurfing and wingfoiling school at Lake Garda offers a 100% wind guarantee in case weather and environmental conditions do not play along. You will receive a voucher if a session cannot take place. This can be added at the end of your kite or wing course, subject to availability, or used for future bookings for up to two years.

The thermal winds make the conditions some of the most stable in the world, perfect for learning kitesurfing and wingfoiling. On an ideal day, the wind blows twice daily: in the morning from the north (Peler) and from midday onwards from the south (Ora). The northern wind is a downslope wind from the Alps, additionally strengthened by thermal effects. It starts in the early morning hours and blows until around 12:00 with 4 to 5 Beaufort. At midday, the wind shifts direction and usually reaches the right strength of 3 to 5 Beaufort around 14:00, making it ideal for kitesurfing and wingfoiling. This thermal wind cannot be accurately forecast by conventional tools such as Windy, Windfinder or Windguru and is therefore assessed daily by our watersports instructors. The first day of your kite or wing course always starts at 12:00, but depending on the wind it may begin as early as 7:30 on the following days.
